BATHROOM:
- Install grab bars
- Use nonskid bath mats and remove throw rugs
- Use night-lights
LIVING ROOM:
- Keep floors free of clutter
- Avoid cords
- Be sure all carpets and area rugs have skidproof backing or are tacked to the floor
KITCHEN/LAUNDRY ROOM:
- Clean up spills immediately
- Put away dryer sheets
- Avoid climbing on counters to reach items at the back of a cabinet
